Position: Investment Reporting Assistant
Plante Moran Financial Advisors, a registered investment advisor firm is looking for a Client Services Support Assistant to ensure that the firm’s Client Services Support team responds to client requests and needs in an efficient manner. The position will involve extensive follow-up with clients and the firm’s Charles Schwab Institutional team to fill out forms, transfer funds, and handle client account maintenance.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Preparation of new account paperwork
- Preparation of paperwork for account changes
- Preparation of account transfer paperwork
- Ensure timely completion of account transfers and other paperwork processing
- Monitor and follow up on alerts
- Frequent communication with custodians
- Identify and communicate client service opportunities to internal professionals
- Assist with money movement activities
- Field questions and request from custodial liaisons, internal and external professionals
- Interact as needed with internal and external professionals
- Assist in testing and roll out of system upgrades, system integration and new technology
- Adhere to PMFA policies and procedures
- Develop, document and/or maintain process policies and procedures for department
- Other client service support task as assigned
- An understanding of securities and investments
- Interest and aptitude for financial planning
- Strong computer skills

- 3+ years business administrative experience. Previous investment industry and administrative experience preferred
- Degree preferred but not required
Qualified individuals must live close enough to work out of one of the following office locations: Kalamazoo, East Lansing, Auburn Hills or Southfield or be willing to relocate for this opportunity at their own cost. Little travel is required with this position.
